Albert Gironès (Valls, 1995)
He has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona (2017) and a master's degree in Cultural Production and Communication from the University Ramon Llull (2019). He has received grants from Sala d'Art Jove (Barcelona, 2020 and 2017), Bòlit Centre d'Art Contemporani (Girona, 2019), UNZIP Arts Visuals (El Prat de Llobregat, 2018), and Inund'Art and the Institut Balear de la Juventut (2018); and second prize for Contemporary Art from the Reddis Foundation (Reus, 2018). He has carried out artistic residencies in Rad'art project (San Romano, Italy, 2019), Plattform Kyrkslätt (Lappböle, Finland, 2019), the Carles Rahola Institute (Girona, 2018), and in Aquemarropa (Alicante, 2017), among others. His work has been shown in group exhibitions at the Centro del Carmen Cultura Contemporánea (Valencia, 2020), the Casal Solleric (Palma de Mallorca, 2019), the Faces Festival (Karis, Finland. 2019), the Galería Santa Fe (Bogotá, Colombia. 2019), among others. He has participated in conferences at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Valencia, 2020), at La Virreina Centre de la imatge (Barcelona, 2018), at the MACA (Alicante, 2017) and at the CED MACBA (Barcelona, 2016); and in publications such as "Destrucción: obras, proyectos" (San José, Costa Rica, 2019) and "Com les coses quan fall: les falles, els fallos" (Milan, Italy. 2019).
