International Book Publishing Fair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>ArtsLibris International Book Publishing Fair is a meeting place for publishers operating in the fields of art, photography, design and the array of printed matter created by artists in the 20th and 21st centuries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It aims to provide artists and publishers a place to present their publications and foster relations among collectors and the general public, with a view to igniting discussions on contemporary culture, promoting the presence of publications and artists on the international circuit, opening up the publishing market and, in short, reconnecting the arts and publishing with society.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Created and directed by the publisher and gallery owner <strong>Roc\u00edo Santa Cruz<\/strong>, right from its origins the fair has been based in Barcelona, home also to the <strong>Arts Santa M\u00f2nica<\/strong>. <strong>Centre de la Creativitat<\/strong>, that coincides with the festivities put on in April to mark Sant Jordi. In February, ArtsLibris is also held as part of the <strong>ARCOmadrid<\/strong> fair.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The fair\u2019s increasingly international vocation has been strengthened by the surge of foreign exhibitors and the expertise of a qualified team of curators and professionals made up by <strong>Antonio Z\u00fa\u00f1iga<\/strong>, one of the best known publishers of artists\u2019 books in Spain and director of Ediciones Originales; <strong>Gl\u00f2ria Picazo<\/strong>, art critic and independent curator, specialist in artists&#8217; books; <strong>Mela D\u00e1vila<\/strong> and <strong>Moritz K\u00fcng<\/strong>, curators specialised in artists\u2019 books, <strong>Horacio Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, expert curator of photo books and <strong>Pedro Torres<\/strong>, freelance art critic and arts manager.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For more information at <a href=\"http:\/\/artslibris.cat\/en\" target=\"_blank\">www.artlibris.cat<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ArtsLibris International Book Publishing Fair is a meeting place for publishers operating in the fields of art, photography, design and the array of printed matter created by artists in the 20th and 21st centuries.
