In this installation, Samuel Salcedo speaks of human relationships, isolation, groups, love, friendship, violence ... In order to do this, he places eight large format spherical sculptures that he has molded with different facial expressions, and that are arranged as if they had been placed by chance to have entered shooting at the gallery. Some remain alone and isolated, others form groups, couples, and some may have crashed creating relationships between them.

For Salcedo, these spherical sculptures modeled with different facial expressions are a metaphor for human beings, and so we discover sculptures with facial expressions of joy, pleasure, lust, indifference ... or as the title of this astonishing installation suggests, bewilderment, for the unexpected state, time and place in which we live.
