We are pleased to present at 3 Punts Gallery the works of José Benítez (Antequera, Málaga, 1963) one of the most attractive and suggestive artists of the national pictorial scene.

Benítez's works introduce us into his fascinating utopian world filled with sublime landscapes and ruins where disoriented anthropomorphic beings swarm in a constant exodus in the midst of existential chaos. His paintings are a true metaphor of man in a future with no return, dehumanized, animalized, driven by despair in a flight forward.

His timeless and spaceless technique captures us and takes control of our eyes in an almost hypnotic way so that we project it into ourselves and cease to be only passive spectators.
