Based in Barcelona, ProjecteSD gallery’s programme seeks to generate a dialogue between renowned artists and young authors, works from different periods and contexts, as a way of emphasising artistic value over trends, classifications or generations. ProjecteSD has outlined a minimalist and conceptual point of view and aims to promote its resident artists internationally, as well as to introduce international artists to the Spanish public. The gallery has combined a bold exhibition programme with a series of significant events that go beyond the conventional exhibition format. pecial attention is devoted to artists’ books and houses a permanent section of selected publications. Curators, artists and publishers have collaborated on presentations, exhibitions, talks and book launches since its opening.

ProjecteSD participates in prestigious fairs such as Art Basel, Paris + and Arco Madrid among others. Between 2011 and 2013, the director and founder of ProjecteSD, Silvia Dauder, was one of the members of the expert committee of the Art Feature and Art Statements sections of the Art Basel fair. In 2014 ProjecteSD received the Art and Patronage award from “La Caixa” for the best gallery.
