Marta Marcé presents her second solo exhibition in Palmadotze, the first in the new headquarters of the gallery in Mas Pujó. In recent years the artist has settled in Berlin where she continues to reinvent the medium of painting with an incessant spirit and originality, and as something susceptible to become an active part of our daily life.

From its beginnings Marcé has found in geometry a way to tune with both universal and metaphysical ideas. Remember how she enriched her artistic practice with elements of both the appearance and the processes of games. This is the case of series inspired by the domino, roulette, mikado, puzzles, tangram or certain computer games, where it makes clear the relations between qualities of the game, painting and life itself, and where the paintings acquire Great energy and vitality. This approach, beyond the visual, became a perfect framework for experimenting, taking risks and ultimately deciding shapes and colors. These series, which already revealed the relations between order and chaos, psychic energy and material energy, mathematical certainty and chance (present in the games), put the artist's gaze on the horizon of the dialogue between Forms and Energy .

Recently, as recorded in her latest series "Now & Ever" presented at the exhibition, Marcé has gone in search of this living energy in his work to deepen an increasingly mystical universe. Progressively, and especially following a trip to Guatemala where he met Maya cosmogony, and in tune with the work of artists like Pablo Palazuelo, Bridgit Riley or Hilma af Klimt or of philosophers and mystics like Ibn Arabi, Gurdjieff or Castaneda, Marcé embraces With her painting this omnipresent and creative energy, which connects every form of life. It is a dialogue that seeks to express through works conformed by visual rhythms of color and geometric patterns.
