Are you audience? Award Ceremony of the Cultural Innovation International Prize 2014-2015

On 9 and 10 June, we present two days of activities related to the Prize and its theme for the 2014-2015 edition: new audiences and their relationships with cultural institutions. Workshops, talks, screenings, project presentations, and a closing party are the highlights of a programme that culminates in the announcement of thejury's decision and the presentation of the Prize to the winning project.

With the participation of Conxa Rodà (Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, MNAC), Marcos García (Medialab-Prado), Nina Simon (Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History, MAH), Mark Miller (Tate), Johan Moerman(Rotterdam Festivals), Juan Insua (CCCBLab), Fito Conesa, Irene Lapuente (La Mandarina de Newton) and Wooky& Videocratz, among others.

All activities are free and open to everybody, except the workshop which is free but requires advance booking.

"AUDIENCES IN ACTION" WORKSHOP

9 - 10 JUNE

TA workshop with Irene Lapuente (La Mandarina de Newton) in which to develop co-creation methods for cultural projects: user-centred design and dynamics for brainstorming and shared decision making, taking into account the many possible approaches to participation and the need to resolve some of the conflicts that arise when it is put into practice.

CONVERSATIONS WITH THE JURY

10 JUNE

A series of talks with the members of this year's jury, along with other experts, who will discuss some of the key aspects involved in the activation of cultural audiences. With Nina Simon, Conxa Rodà, Marcos García, Fito Conesa, Mark Miller and Inés Garriga.

AWARD CEREMONY

10 JUNE

Announcement of the winning project and presentation of the 2014-2015 Prize. The programme, with Bruno Sokolowicz as master of ceremonies, will include a screening of the latest episode of Soy cámara, presentations of the shortlisted projects, and a closing party with Wooky & Videocratz.
