The Marlborough Gallery has exhibition spaces in Barcelona, ​​Madrid, London, New York and Santiago. Founded in London in 1946, it was a pioneer in introducing the German Expressionists. In 1958 the gallery represented artists such as Oskar Kokoschka and Lucian Freud. In 1962, it was established in New York and later in Tokyo, Rome, Florida, Madrid, Chile, Monaco, Chelsea (NY) and Barcelona. Marlborough represents a wide group of contemporary artists from Europe, the United States, South America and Asia. The Barcelona headquarters opened its doors in October 2006 and since then has alternated group exhibitions with monographs, and has coordinated and organized exhibitions of its artists in other galleries and public and private institutions. Its programming includes national and international artists, established and emerging. The genre, style or theme is marked by the artist who exhibits, so that you can see samples that cover all types of proposals: painting, sculpture, photography or graphic work.
